Meetings of the Liturgy Committee are on the second Tuesday of every month. New volunteers are always welcome.
Altar ServersCoordinator: Leo Marrero Open to parishioners of all ages who have received their First Communion. You are welcome to serve and assist at the Lord’s Table. New servers are always welcome; please sign up on Stewardship Sunday. A schedule of training days is coming soon. |
Audio VisualChair: Sean Blair Andrew Wong This ministry controls the audio board and sets up the sound system for Mass. Some technical understanding of switching and Power Point is helpful. |
Children’s LiturgyCoordinator: Cathy Piedimonte Children's Liturgy is held most Sundays during the 9:30 am and 11:30 am Masses from September to May. It is open to all children aged 5-12. The Liturgy of the Word is celebrated downstairs through song, puppet plays, reader's theatres and drama. During the Mass, Father calls the children to the front, blesses them and then they go downstairs with the Liturgy leaders. The children return to the Mass for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. There is no registration required. |
Arts and EnvironmentCoordinator: Cheryl Verhesen This committee ensures that the colours and artwork in the Church are seasonally appropriate. If you enjoy decorating, join us as we transform our liturgical spaces for celebrations and Mass. |
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy CommunionCoordinator: Helena Houghton / Dana Hanlon These volunteers assist the Celebrant with distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. |
Greeters/HospitalityCoordinator: Mary Ann Lacoursiere These people will provide a welcoming atmosphere for those coming to Mass and be a source of information for new Parishioners as required. |
Lectors/ReadersCoordinator: Dan Matchett All parishioners in communion with the Church aged 12 and older are invited to proclaim God's Living Word. |
Music MinistryNew singers and musicians are always welcome!

Sunday SchoolCoordinator: Megan Schumacher Please contact us for more information to register your child or if you are able to volunteer as a teacher. "No teaching experience necessary." A perfect opportunity to gain experience, in fact. |
UshersCoordinator: Ben Close Ushers will assist with seating people before Mass and cleaning the pews after. They invite people to carry the Gifts of Bread and Wine during the Preparation of the Gifts and also take up the collection. |
Weekday MinistriesCoordinator: Muriel Smith There are weekday Masses at 8:30 am every week day morning, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7 pm. Altar servers, readers and EMHCs are needed to assist with these. |
Ministry ManualsMinistry manuals are on the back of the pamphlet rack. They are also available from the Office and from the coordinators of the various ministries |
SacristansCoordinator: Jan Myhre Sacristans are responsible for preparing the Church for Mass and special liturgies. They ensure all items are available and in their proper place. |
Church LinensCoordinator: Pam Carton Our parish needs help with cleaning vestments and linens used in the Church. |
Wedding RehearsalsEngaged couples are asked to contact the priests for their initial interview. A minimum of four months' notice is required to allow time for pre-marriage sessions and planning for the wedding liturgy. Please do not book the place of reception before booking the Church!
